What data is collected through the App?

Westat does not collect any personal information through the App. You can use the App without a user account and without providing personal information. The only data you provide through the App is the date and time that you wish to begin collecting samples for study participation. This data is used for the sole purpose of scheduling reminders on your mobile device for each sample collection. No data about your mobile device is collected by the App.

Is data shared with third parties?

The data you provide through the App is not shared, sold, or made available to any third party.

For how long is data stored?

Data that you enter in the App remains on your mobile device and is not transmitted or stored off the device. Your data is stored on your mobile device for as long as the App is installed.

How can data be deleted?

Uninstalling the App will delete any entered data from your mobile device.

Permissions

The app requests permissions to display notifications. These notifications are triggered by the date and time data the user enters in to the app. They are not triggered by a remote service.
